NO! Katie, don’t fall into the cult of apple. I admit they make cool things, but now they have you hooked and they want your 500 dollars! I mean Apple TV?!?!? Lame. Stay in the middle, saftey in the middle of the road!
Here’s the reason I can’t justify buying it, despite my extreme desire to. Reports came out that the thing costs apple 250-285 depending on the model, yet they’re selling the thing for 500-600. That wouldn’t be too big of a deal if it weren’t for the fact that they are forcing you into a 2 year contract no matter what. Now I’m down with Cingular, they are my carrier now, but usually a 2 year contract means they take a hit on the retail price. Now we see that buying this phone means taking it from both ends. They’ve pushed just a little too hard.
But, over the last year or so, I’ve really become an apple convertie. I’m getting a mac in the next couple of months, and putting windows PCs to rest once and for all.

iphone is my God, I can tell you that much.
