Posted in Life on 10/01/2006 05:08 am by KatieSo I go into the Shell station by my Denny’s to buy cigarettes at 4:30am, and some guy comes in all beat up and bleeding. I think he was Hispanic, and it was very hard to understand what he was saying, especially with his face all smashed up. I called 911 for him. It was pretty insane. Apparently, Tim heard shouting when he left Denny’s, but I didn’t hear or see anything, even when I pulled into the parking log (but we all know how oblivious I am). It was just pretty surreal.

Yeah, it sounded like a pretty bad scene. Shouts and possibly the sounds of a couple people kicking the crap out of a dude. It was enough to get me into my car and away the hell from there pronto.
I’m not sure “surreal” is a fucked up enough word to describe that situation.
